How to utilize Xbox Live Gold Game Pass

Only some games have support for playing on one console in Online Multiplayer. Some parts of Call of Duty, for example, have such support for playing.
For clarification, the main service is Xbox Live Gold. And the Xbox Game Pass is another Xbox service and you can play free games if you have a Gamepass membership.

Hey there, you will be able to play online splitscreen in some games, however you cannot in BF. As long as there's 2 accounts signed in- one for each controller you'll be fine on other online games.

Playing multiplayer on one and the same console doesn't require a Gold membership. Only online multiplayer with other people across the Internet and Xbox Live service requires a Gold membership.

However, not all games feature a local split screen mode where two people can play on one console. While Star Wars Battlefront does feature Splitscreen modes, this is only for a limited selection of Co-Op modes of the game.
