How to use System game data rather than Cloud

After logging into Forza Horizon 2, I was greeted with a message saying that I needed to choose whether I wanted to use Cloud or System data. I chose Cloud, knowing that it was newer, and after it had finished loading, the game had totally reset - put me
back to square 0. Is there anyway to tell the System to use the System's saved game data instead of the Cloud data?

Why can't I save my 360 game save files on my Xbox One hard drive?

When it prompts me to "Select a Device" for local save data it only gives me the option to save on "Cloud Saved Games". I'd rather save them on my local Xbox One hard drive as I only have 2GB for cloud saves. I've looked for a solution but have only found
topics relating to recovering 360 save data from 360s onto Xbox Ones via cloud storage. Is there a way to save local data onto my hard drive rather than use cloud storage?

Saved file won't load - Mass Effect

I had almost this exact same issue and here is what I found out. Did you move the file OFF of the cloud or did you copy the data only? I copied the data off the cloud and ME would not load the file. But after that I tried deleting the copy off of the
system and then moving the files from the cloud rather than copying them. The game then loaded the file with no issues. Hope this helps!

Out other console is a 4 year old xbox one 500gb and has more games saved to it, which is taking up 68% which is why im struggling to see how this console is 76% full.... could it be because he plays a lot of off line games on it and saves the data to
the hard drive rather than the cloud?

Yeah, it really depends how the OP is playing...I assumed (rightly or wrongly perhaps) that they are playing via the Cloud (as they have posted in Cloud Gaming)...if that's the case, then there's no local save or any data to delete as it's all on the Cloud system

Your game data or game saves are stored in the cloud storage of your profile. Once you reinstall the game and load it up again, the system will try to sync your original game data from your cloud storage.
