How to use previously installed game data in XBOX app after Windows reinstall

I got it to work after turning off game bar and quitting the xbox beta app, and then uninstalling and reinstalling gaming services using powershell admin. Then restart the computer and launch the game. then i went to the options menu first then a syncing
data screen should show up and then the save is back.

Here is how to uninstall and reinstall using powershell:

• Launch powershell as an administrator and enter “get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-AppxPackage -allusers”
• In the same powershell window, enter “start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9MWPM2CQNLHN”
• Install the app on that page, including accepting the UAC prompt when shown.

I just happen to have the same issue previously where all my DLCs are installed as well but then data packs then installed after performing the steps.

As another option, you can then try to uninstall and reinstall the game.

It's a problem with app data. Probably some files are corrupt and does not make the Xbox app work properly. Try

A.
Reinstall Gaming Services using powershell command

Press Windows key + X and then select Windows PowerShell (Admin).

Type or copy / past the following command and press Enter:

Get-AppxPackage *gamingservices* -allusers | remove-appxpackage -allusers

Restart the PC and Open the Xbox application.

A blue notification with the following message is going to appear at the bottom:
"This app needs an extra component. Gaming Services is needed for playing some games. Administrator approval required. Install"

Select Install to reinstall Gaming Services, once installed check again

B. Do a clean boot in your PC and check if the issue persist or not

C. Can be a bit odd but please reinstall the Microsoft store and all it's components (use both methods provided by Lester)

After that go to windows settings > apps > search for gaming services app > click on it and select advanced options.
After that, click repair and then reset

Then do the same for the Xbox app and dead by daylight

Go to windows settings > apps > search for Xbox app > click on it and select advanced options.

After that, click repair and then reset.
Restart the PC and try again
