    All I want to know is if it's possible to use a headset with xbox one s controller while playing wirelessly on a pc?

    Headset with Xbox One S controller not producing audio

    I recently got a new xbox one s controller and a new headset with a jack. I can hear everyone and everything just fine; however, no audio is being produced. On party chat my gamertag pops up as if I am talking but no one
    can hear me.

    Originally I thought it was an issue with the controller and/or headset, but connecting my headset to my controller (via jack) and my controller to my pc (via wireless adapter) and it produces audio just fine. Even putting different headsets to
    my controller produces audio just fine on my pc and putting the original headset to the jack on my pc works fine.

    I'm guessing that there may be something wrong with my console. Any help would be appreciated!

    Hey CraftyMonkey702! What games would you like to use it with? It should work in the Xbox App but outside of that, it is probably better to connect the headset straight to the PC. Post back and let me know!

    Will PS3 Bluetooth Headset work with Xbox One?

    The Xbox One console doesn't support Bluetooth. That headset won't work with the Xbox One in any way.

    The new Xbox One controllers (the ones that come with the Xbox One S) have Bluetooth, but that's only used to connect the controller to a Windows 10 PC through Bluetooth.

    Yeah, i refer exactly to that.

    So Xbox One S controller is worst than the wireless one. I selled my wireless controller to get one of these, for the compatibility with bluetooth devices.

    What a shame.

    There's no plans or any sort of announcements for a wireless headset, as far as I know.

    The revised controllers for the Xbox One S actually connect to the console via the same proprietary RF as the regular Xbox One controllers do. The Bluetooth radio in the controller is only utilized when you connect it to a Windows 10 PC.
