    How to unreport messages?


    I was sent a message that said , [mod removed] , so I reported it thinking it was just a random 8 year old raging but I then click on the profile and found out it was my older brother with a different gamertag. I don't want him to get banned (I know swearing can get a com ban depending on severity) as he was probably just joking. What should I do?

    You can't cancel a report once you've sent one.

    Please lythester in the future do not report someone unless you have absolute grounds to report him. Enforcers take reports seriously and do not distinguish between mistakes or accidents. That is why it is very important to evaluate why you want to report
    someone before doing it. Hopefully your friend does not get any type of discipline for this instance.

    As long as your friend has done nothing wrong they will be fine. There is no way to take back a report once it has been sent.
