How to unlock Blizzard Mountain expansion pack for Horizon 3

The Forza Horizon 3 Blizzard Mountain (or Snowfall/Snowy Mountain) expansion will become available after you have unlocked your third festival location in the main game. I believe you need 200,000 fans in order to unlock the game's third festival location,,
but I could be wrong. After unlocking your third festival, it should start a Blizzard Mountain cut scene and put a navigation point on the map in the airport area.

I think you need to progress into the game a certain amount to unlock this content, according to some online articles - In order to access the Blizzard Mountain content in Forza Horizon 3, you’ll have to have the area around Redstone Airport unlocked.
If you do not, you’ll have to play a bit more to access the new stuff. This is in the desert area at the north west of the map, and you might have to upgrade your festival site a few times to get the missions to unlock the area and the travel.

Hi, the Infected games in Forza Horizon 3 are part of the Online Adventure events. An Xbox Live subscription is needed to participate in the online games. However, an Expansion Pass, which unlocks Hot Wheels and Blizzard Mountain, is not needed to play
in the Infected games.
