How to unlink an EA account that was hacked

I have been trying to play a game on Game Pass with EA play, but I have discovered that I have an old account linked that was hacked 2 years ago and I wasn't able to get it back from EA. I have been trying to find a way to unlink this account from my current xbox account, however I need to be able to log in to my EA account to unlink it. Surely considering you're linking an account between 2 of your own accounts, you should be able to unlink from either account? Whenever I try to install Burnout Paradise Remastered it tells me to open it in the EA desktop app and it logs me into my old account that was hacked, however I can't unlink because you need to go to the EA website and log in to the account with your email and password before you can make any account management changes. I hope there is something that can be done, because I can't unlink this account anymore and I'd like to be able to use my current account instead.

Hello, I would have thought that since it's still linked to the Xbox account you'd be able to do something but thank you for your help anyway.

To unlink your EA account from your Xbox account you need to have access to your EA account first. But since it has been hacked, unfortunately Microsoft will not be able to help you with the account recovery as it has no control over EA accounts. I advice you to Contact EA regarding the hacked account issue.

it is linked via ea so there is absolutely nothing microsoft can do, if you go to ea live chat or open a ticket they can unlink.

I am having the issue but with my EA account. My account got hacked and i changed my xbox profiles account email. But being that I can't get into my EA account I cant give them the proper info to unlink it and it is stressful. If anyone knows how to solve this please let me know.

You should be able to unlink your Xbox account from your EA account by signing into your EA Account and under your profile info you should see all the linked profiles.
