How to uninstall Gaming Services ?

Windows is not (legally) free.

I am using MSI GS66 i7

I followed this step, however it will reinstall after I reboot my system…

even if you disable it via powershell or some other way, the next windows update will put it straight back on, the reason it is there now is you reset the pc and it finally got all the latest updates. it uses no space and does nothing unless you start specific apps or games. it is meant to be there as it is now part of the OS.

The problem people are running into is it hurting performance/ breaking certain games. League of Legends and Fallout 3 being two to the biggest games these new services have messed with. I can pinpoint that these issues arise from these service, since removing them in PowerShell solved 100% of my issues with both games. Even if it wasn't messing these games up, its still just unneeded Bloatware ****, that Windows should have asked me about before installing, end of story.

This is the correct response. Ignore what is being said by Xbox evangelists and MS employees/plants who are giving you the "pay no attention to the man behind the curtain" hand-wave. If we want the GD app, we'll download it.
