How to turn on Xbox remotely?

Have you went through the steps of turning on remote play on the console? What are you using to use the remote play options ie: computer, laptop, tablet or smartphone? You have to go through the settings to set it up. You can follow this link and it will give you step by step instructions:

I'm on the forums as much as you but you are on here constantly about how much you hate MS. I don't care for them either way. Now I can tell you from both LCD televisions in my house that when plugged in power on at the wall but turn off at the TV. If I
pick up the remote and try and turn it on it won't. If I turn on the Xbox that is in the HDMI slot the TV also does not turn on. Why? Because I have not left the TV in stanby mode. And the example above states that it is waiting to be turned on by a remote
control which it cannot to unless you have turned it off via the remote control. How is that a BS response?

Eg. A remote control car has a fully charged battery in it. It's receiving power. It also has a switch which is off. Now pick up the remote controller for car and turn it on. Now try and drive that car. How far did it go?

Lol what? I don't even need to use the remote to turn on my TV. With Bravia sync the TV turns on or off automatically. But there is still power going to the TV so it's not fully OFF

I'm having the same issue.

but I figured something about this.

When TV that connected to XBOX is turned on. remote play works.

but when TV is turned off. remote play is not working.

if I turn on my TV first, then remote play from my PC . it works perfectly.

then if I turn off my TV. suddenly Remote play become very unstable and stuttering.

and it disconnected automatically in a minute.

I tested wireless and wired , both behaves same.

and most importantly , this issue not reproducing iPhone and android phone remote play.

mobile phone remote play works perfectly no matter TV is turned on or not.
