Im trying to use the CEC option so when i turn on my xbox, my tv turns on as well. JVC isnt listen in the tv brands, so i entered it. None of the signals they sent to turn the volume up worked, so i entered the model name, word and letter in full, then they asked me to select which one, and the model i entered wasn't there. Any loop holes to this? Or maybe I did sumth wrong. I already turned on the CEC option in my tv’s settings.

Is the Xbox turning on at the same time that you are turning on your TV or switching inputs on your TV? My Samsung TV switches on my Xbox automatically.

The mode you are referring to is going to be on the television or monitor. I have my Xbox set to control the TV so when I turn on the Xbox it will turn the TV on automatically to the right setting and mode.

There's an option for the Xbox to automatically turn on/off the TV when it's turned on/off.

Does the xbox one automatically go into power save mode when I'm watching TV? I have my xbox one setup to turn on and off my cable box and tv through kinect commands. I just wonder how much power I'm using when just watching tv?
