    How to turn off XBoxOS ap since screen cast was launched . ??


    I dont want another AP running in my room ( enough wifi noise as it is) , plus i wire everything. I have removed the video app , tried to disable connections to smart glass , i still cannot stop the xb1 from broadcasting an AP please advise how to turn it
    off.

    Please tell me it's not just me who can't get my NAT to open after trying EVERYTHING.

    Is their a option on your router called DMZ? if so turn it on for the address that says XboxOS

    very happy with Raspberry pi in pass through and dont want to use the xbox video functions .

    very happy with the Raspberry Pi in pass through mode for all TV video music functions ( Too late arriving to the party MS)

    Can someone please take this seriously I work in info-sec and opsec and im afraid, i will have to bin this console if an option is not given to turn this feature off.

    You should go to Settings > Preferences > And disable "Allow play-to streaming". That should stop it from broadcasting that its available to stream to.

    Sadly the console will remain in standby even if "powered off" but that only happens because of a aspect in windows 8 that was integrated in the XBOXOS before the launch of the Xbox One
