How to turn off the Xbox one controller

Hello i have a question about the controller and how to turn it off when using on the Xbox one console and pressing the guide button pulls up the what do you want to do screen and from there i select turn off the controller but are there other ways in
how to turn it off?

You can hold down the controller power button until the light goes out and as a last resort you can pull the batteries.

So pressing and holding the guide button for 6 seconds till the controller turns off isn't an official method of turning it off without selecting Turn off the controller from the options i hope it's not a hack or glitch here's a video on YouTube on what
