    How to turn off one guide

    As an additional note:

    Also check your Power & Startup Options. Settings>Power & Startup>Power Mode & Startup. Untick the "On start, go to TV" option ;-).

    How to turn off one guide

    Hi everyone. I first setup my Xbox one with my cable provider, however I didn't like that I needed to turn on the Xbox to watch tv. Now that I disconnected the cable box from the Xbox, every time I turn on the Xbox it prompts me that my cable has been disconnected.
    How can I prevent this prompt from showing up? I don't mind having the one guide for the apps that are associated with it, I just don't want it for live tv.

    How to turn off One Guide???

    not sure what you mean... just use your OEM cable box remote as you normally would

    My X1 remote will still ff, pause, stop, rr live tv...... my cable box shows different channels then what the X1 shows. Basically I don't want Xbox to ever go to One guide.

    TBH I never ever use the one guide... my cable box remote still function like it was not plugged into the X1, even though it is... I am guessing your X1 remote brings up the one guide huh

    You may need to go into your settings, and remove your Cable provider from there. Settings>TV & OneGuide>Device Control.

    TBH I never ever use the one guide... my cable box remote still function like it was not plugged into the X1, even though it is... I am guessing your X1 remote brings up the one guide huh
