    How to turn off Netflix subtitles?


    I've tried just about everything and anything to turn them off.. Factory reset... Turning off closed captioning... Frantically looking everywhere for a way to turn them off in the Netflix menu, putting a turtle on my Xbox, and nothing works. it's almost
    aggravating that they never popped up until recently this morning and there's nothing I can do about it. Help would be greatly appreciated on how to disable them.

    Turn off sound effect off on new Netflix

    I can't figure out how to turn off the Netflix sound effect either. This is really annoying.

    Have you tried pausing the show then pressing down on the D pad and selecting OFF for subtitles?

    I think the subtitles should be off by default. Its annoying having to turn them off every time I start netflix.

    mine actually shows it is set to off.. yet netflix still shows subtitles for some things... i can also not turn it off in the pull up menu using the controller whilst watching.. there are options to use other languages, but no way to simply just turn it
    off.. it is ridiculous.

    The last Netflix app update caused all video I play in Netflix to start with subtitles turned on. Looks like a bug in the Netflix app.

    Subtitles won't turn off when playing DVDs in Xbox 360

    Most DVD's will have an option to show or not show subtitles in their menu. Try searching the menu options for the ability to turn off the subtitles.
