How to turn off narration

This is occurring with multiple movies I have previously downloaded - now there is narration (for the visually impaired) on all of them. There is no way I can see to turn it off - no, turning off closed caption doesn’t work; no, reinstalling the software
doesn’t work; no deleting the movie and reinstalling doesn’t work; no calling tech support doesn’t work, they keep telling me to do aforementioned.

Here’s the kicker - I can watch themon my laptop with no issues. I have previously watched these movies on XBOX360, so its not the movies I downloaded. This only began after the most recent update. I’ve been waiting for months for a fix from Microsoft
to no avail. I figured that the thousands of customers who have had the same issue (see other threads) would prompt a fix, but I guess I was wrong.

When will Microsoft address this issue with XBOX360 users?

Is this related to tge "narrator" function on the xbox one?

If you press and hold the xbox button (as if to shut down) and select the narrator option, are you able to toggle it do that it is off?

That doesn’t work with XBOX360

Welcome to the forums, sorry you're experiencing this problem with your Xbox 360. This does seem like a bit of a strange problem, I havent found a solution to the problem, but I have seen a couple of threads that basically say its discs or movies that are
Sony based that can cause an issue.

Have you tried multiple movies or is it only specific types of movies?

It is the new MIB and Equalizer 2, both were previously fine. There are other movies too, those are just ones off the top of my head.

I heard of this maybe working on the xbox one so maybe same shortcuts might apply to xbox 360. Wouldn't harm to try https://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-one/ease-of-access/narrator-keyboard-shortcuts
