    How to turn off MS Mahjonh Hints


    This is my last attempt to find this answer before I just stop playing the Game.

    How do you stop the flashing hints that start while you are trying to work out how to make your next play. I do not mean how to turn off the highlighted available tiles , I want to stop the hints. Yes it might be helpful to have a button to ask for a hint but only when one wants one.

    Sorry if this post sound a bit harsh but it has become very stressful to not be able to find the answer, If the answer is "it can not be done" then at least that is an answer ....

    Thanks in advance for any insight you can bring to this problem.

    Thanks for the reply. At least I got a straight answer. I guess I will stop playing the game. I do not need more stress in my life. Stress reduction is the reason I was playing the thing in the first place.

    Maybe I will try it again in next year. I just think is is funny (or sad) that the designers would not put that switch in the program.

    Thanks again, maybe this is a sign I should be doing something better in my life then playing cards ....

    Thank you for the hints. The problem is that when you turn on the console again, an error message appears on the screen and you can not turn it off.

    how does it violate your privacy?

    MS clearly said that the kinect will be on after you turn it of so that you can turn it back on using voice command,

    however THERE WILL BE AN OPTION TO TURN THAT OFF.
