    So i play fortnite with a keyboard and mouse which is plugged in to rhe xbox so. I have my earphones plugged in the controller but the controller turns off so ill have to. Press the xbox button and that causes my game to lag but i wanna turnoff the controller

    However, there is a tip you can do, it is to put an App like Spotfy with background music and put it at the minimum volume, with that sound will be coming out of the headset and it will not turn off.
