How to turn off automatic downloading clips

How do I turn off the automatic clips without completely turning off the DVR capabilities. And also how long do unsaved videos last in upload because the game has totally spammed my video library

Only way I could figure out is to just turn off DVR during Madden. Also you can clean up your DVR library by going to your DVR and highlighting a clip, then press the menu(start) on your controller, then select delete. Had to clean up mine as well had
well over 40 clips just from Madden.

  4. How to turn off automatic update?

    Good day,

So this page has some details on the different power settings: Energy-saving Mode | Instant-On Mode | Xbox One Power Modes

In energy-saving mode, it will not download and install the updates automatically. I believe that is what you are looking for, but there are some drawbacks outlined on that support page.

This page has some more details on system updates and when they might be mandatory: Learn About Xbox Updates on Xbox One | System Updates

Let us know if you have any other questions!

    Turning off automatic game updates.

    @ Omegga,

Go to settings, power and start up, and select energy saving mode. The Xbox will not auto update after doing that.

    Turning off automatic game updates.

Go to your settings and turn off the feature that puts your console to sleep instead of powering off. This will mean that it will no longer do things in the background. You will have to update manually, (same games still force you to download before you
play) This also makes it so when you turn your console off it will actually shut down. So save your games and what not.

    Turns off automatically

    Hi there

As mentioned above is it plugged into a surge protector.

May i also ask if this has been happening for awhile or only just encountered this? Regardless, you may also request a repair here at Device support

If you warranty is active on the console you will be eligible for a repair free of charge. However if it is not under warranty, you may still get a repair directly from xbox however there will be cost involved.

    I would suggest perhaps

Shutting the console down completely. You can do this by firstly holding your finger on the console until it completely shuts down. Unplug the console and wait a good few minutes, typically 5 minutes, now when you go to plug your console in. Please try
to plug the console into a different power point to which you were using before. And try to have it isolated from sharing power with any other devices, i.e adapters with tv etc plugged into the same supply. Start the console back up and allow it to boot up
and sit idley on the home screen for about 1-2 minutes before attempting to start any game or app. Start with a smaller game you have installed that won't have to process a big amount to load the game.

If you have no success with this, you may feel free to head on over to support here at Xbox customer support
