Turning off recurring billing should go without any issues. On your webbrowser of choice navigate to the following page: https://account.microsoft.com/ and sign-in.

On that page, just bellow your first and last name there should be a "Subscriptions" section.





Click on "View all subscriptions". In the newly open page, you should be able to see "Turn off recurring billing".

After you've successfully turned it off, the text will change to "Turn on recurring billing" and will look something like this:







If at any time, you decide you want to have it paid automatically again, re-enabling it is just as easy!

To turn off auto renewal, you go to your account settings, go to your membership and go on it. You are able to turn it off there. Alternatively, you can go on Xbox.com and sign in to your account. Press 'my account' and there will be your trial. You will
see auto renewal. It should be on. Press change and turn it off. It will not pay automatically from now on.
