How to transfer Xbox profile from adult to child account?

When my son first started playing Xbox, I set up a profile / gamer tag for him associated with my (Adult) Microsoft Account & e-mail address. I would now like for him to have his own *child* account so that I can implement family features (e.g. screen time
limits, activity monitor). He has a considerable investment of time associated with the Xbox profile (achievements, leader boards, friends, etc.) so I would like to preserve this data. May I A) transfer it to a new (child) account? or B) downgrade my current
account (to child), change e-mail address to his e-mail and start a new adult account?.

How to turn an Xbox 360 offline profile into a gamertag FOR CHILD ACCOUNT

How do you turn an xbox 360 offline CHILD profile into a gamertag? We are unable to change the profile from child to adult so need to transfer it as is. The 'join xbox live' option is not working.

Game Achievement Transfer

I have one adult account profile and a child profile.

My son has gained an awful lot of Minecraft and Forza 4 game achievements whilst logged into my account.

With concerns over his safety, I have now created a child account for him.

How do I transfer all my sons achievements data to his new profile?

Note: XBOX Gold Live is active on both profiles.

You can't downgrade or transfer an adult account to a child account

Your best solution would be to make a new child account and use the home setting feature to share games

Unfortunately, it's not possible to make an adult account a child account.

While it's possible to move your son's gamertag account to a different email, this will currently result in your Microsoft account to be deleted after the move. So that's usually not an option for the parent either. Also, this doesn't also change the "adultness"
of the account.

If enough people vote and comment on that idea, Microsoft will implement the changes in the future, so you can change your child's account.

It is not possible to convert an adult account to a child account. You would need to create a new child account. There is no way to transfer any of the saves or gamerscore to the new account from the adult account.

Hey Xwarrior,

Did this account graduate naturally from a child account to an adult account or was there a birthday change attempt? You can change the birthdate to the Microsoft account but it will not change the birthdate that was entered originally to the Xbox profile.

In other words, a child account will remain a child account until it graduates naturally to an adult account. No way around it.
