How to transfer xbox account history, status, and achievements to child's account

Many years ago when my kid started playing Xbox I (parent) set-up a Microsoft account and related Xbox account, using my email. I was new to world of gaming, the kids were little, didn't play much and had no email of their own. Fast forward several years
and being quarantined inside he is playing more and I want more control over his screen time. However, in order to do so it seems I have to to create a separate Microsoft account(which I have done). So how can all his history, years of playing, status, and
achievements he has gained under my account be transferred to his new account? Thanks.

Achievements and history is not transferable between accounts.

Im having same exact issue. I want to leave this account to him but change the settings to child and make a new account as the administrator so I can set screen time limits

Hey there

You cannot transfer history on another account...

But you can leave this account to your kid and set as a child account, then make a new one for you and set a family so that you can control the kid account...

How do I set account as child? Will my email still be attached to the account? When my wife logs in to her separate MS family account, where this account was a parent, will it now be a child too?
