    How to transfer Black Ops II Season Pass from XBox 360 console to XBox One X console


    I have both an XBox 360 console (one of the original ones - yes, it still runs!) and a new XBox One X console. I have CoD Black Ops and Black Ops II installed on both machines (from one set of disks), but installed the Season Pass for Black Ops on the 360.
    I only play on one machine at a time, and would rather have Black Ops II ONLY on the XBox One X. I have downloaded and installed the DLC for Black Ops II on the 360, and, of course, I can't install the DLC on the XBox One X, because the license says it is
    only good for the first console you install it on. Makes sense. So, I am ready to delete CoD (both versions, plus and DLC associated with them) from my 360 and keep the install on the XBox One X. How do I transfer the Season Pass from the 360 to the XBox
    One X, and re-download the DLC onto the One X? BTW, I do use the same gamer tag on both consoles and for all games. If I need to create a new gamer tag, can I still use the same contact and billing information from my current gamer tag? Thanks for your
    assistance! You may be wondering why I still have the 360: it runs some games that don't run on the XBox One.     Did a different account on your Xbox 360 console originally own the season pass? Let's check our

    Black Ops II Season Pass page on the Xbox 360 Marketplace     to see if the page instructs you to purchase the season pass our not. If that page does show that the Season Pass needs to be purchased, that indicates that your account may not own the Season Pass.

    I haven't run into this issue at all so I'm curious as to why you are. The content you pay for is associated with the account is purchased with, not the console. Your season pass for BO2 should be working regardless of the console.

    The ONLY thing that could be the issue here is if the account/gamertag it was purchased with isn't the same one you have on your Xbox One X.

    If it is the same, then this is an issue you need to bring up with Xbox support.

    While signed in, if you navigate to our
    Call of Duty: Black Ops II Season Pass page     does it still prompt you to purchase it or does it acknowledge that it is owned? That would be a good spot to double check, as being in the preview program normally would not affect content ownership on the Xbox
    360 Marketplace.

    If that page asks you to purchase the Season Pass, I would reach out to our phone or chat support team one more time to inquire about if and when the Black Ops II season pass was added to your account. If they can locate the Season Pass and provide a date
    when it was added, that information will help us a lot.

    Apologies for the delayed reply. Are you able to try other Xbox 360 discs to see if a similar issue occurs? Does the Xbox One console recognize that the disc is a Black Ops II disc, or does the Xbox One console not acknowledge that any disc is in while Black
    Ops II is in?
