How to tell differance between Xbox one and Xbox on S controlers ?

I had a gamestop white controller on my DAY ONE XBOX ONE.... and I picked up a Xbox One S.

I know the Xbox one S controller has blue-tooth and gives "CLAIMED" almost double the range as the standard Xbox one controller.

SO, if I was going to buy another controller, How can one tell the DIFFERENCE between the 2 ?

I compared it to my Gamestop controller (about 3 months old), it's exactly the same, the connectors on the bottom, the battery compartment, the shape, even the texture on the back of the controller..

I saw this and this is not BLACK AND WHITE

    https://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox...bleshoot-xbox-one-bluetooth-issues-windows-10

I would expect Microsoft to even put a small blu-tooth logo on the back of it or something of the sort.

So, how does one LOOK at a controller and tell it's a S vs a standard one ?

    :)

How to transfer profile from Xbox one to Xbox One S?

    Hi folks.

I'll be getting a Xbox One S tomorrow and I would like to know how to transfer my profile/gamer-tag from the original Xbox One to the new Xbox One S. I believe all my accessories (controlers, external HDD) are compatible but I can't for the life of me find
any information on how to transfer between the two consoles? Is it just simply a case of turning my Xbox One S on and signing into my profile?

Can anyone help me please with tips etc?

My xbox 360 S can't conect with the controlers. The round flash lighs start working during seconds but doesn't conect to the controlers, after stop flashing the turn on button light change to red without conection.

I change the controlers battery and checked the wire conections with no success.

    Hi

I think styling of the newer controller with Bluetooth is different near where the Xbox button is on it.

    This controller has Bluetooth and

    this
    one does not.

    Xbox One S wireless controller

    Hey there!

Yes, there is a difference between the Xbox One controller and the Xbox One S controllers. As you've mentioned, the Xbox One S controllers have Bluetooth capability whereas the original series does not. You can sort of tell the difference when you look at
the controller itself. If the area around the Xbox guide button matches the controller, it likely is a Bluetooth capable controller vs an original one. A good example is the difference between the

    Lunar White Controller
(non-Bluetooth capable) and the new white
    Xbox One Controller
(Bluetooth capable). You can see the difference in the controller around the guide button. If you see a controller in the store that you like, you can always check on the web to see if it has Bluetooth or not.

Let us know if you have any other questions. :)

    ............

    Hello everyone :)

    ............

I thought that the only difference between the controller (not the Xbox One S controller) and the Design Lab controller was asthetic?
