How to talk through xbox party and not gamechat

Thanks. But i already know how to join a party. But while im in said party, my voice is still being projected in the ingame chat. Do you know how i can just talk through the party and not in game?

Is there no option on Halo 3 settings to turn off in game chat?
If not, you can perhaps mute the ingame lobby.

But i'm sure there's an option somewhere like when you join a game, there's a turn off ingame chat,

I just can't remember where when I had the same issue.

But when you're in-game, your party is active? You could just try to turn off the in game chat.

If you're looking to join an Xbox Party on PC press, the 'Social' button at the end of the Game Bar. It's the icon that looks like two people next to one another. This will bring up your Xbox Friends List. Right-click on the friend whose party you want to join and select the 'Join Party' option.
