how to switch xbox live account to a new email

I just deleted one of my email address that was linked to my xbox live account and now use another email. the problem I have now is i caint log into my xbox live. How do I add this new email to my xbox live?

I've had a live account for years now but when I set it up I used my gmail email. I also have an local free profile for my wife that I set it up using my Live.com email account. My wife's account doesn't have a Live gold pass so it's just a free local account. Recently I signed up for a xbox Live Music pass about a month ago and I've been enjoying it so far (gmail account)....so to the Issue.
I just got a new Windows phone. All sync'd up and working with my live email account. My music pass though is not showing up for my Live account so I can't sync up my playlist and such. There is also no option to "log in" to your music pass as it uses the account the phone is already setup with which is my Live account.

So how do I switch my music pass to be associated to my Live account? I've been trying for hours to just delete my Wife's free profile account so I can remove my Live email association but I can't figure out how. I do know that I'll have to change my XboxLive account name which is cool with me. But when I try to switch my account over it says My email that I want to use is already in used by a Xbox profile (Yeah, my wifes').

Need Help For Account Email Switch

At moment I tried myself to manage my account email. Because I want to link my primary Xbox Live Account with my official email address. But Accidently, I created one Xbox Live Account with my new email.

So I followed these steps to switch my account's email.

Right now, I created another email to process. I successfully switch between my primary Xbox Live Account with my new made email, also I switched my ''Unwanted'' Xbox Live Account with my old email which linked with my primary Xbox Live Account.

So now, I got my official email address ''free'' and ready to switched with my primary Xbox Live Account. But at the moment when I want to switch, it says my official email address is still linked with my '"unwanted'' Xbox Live Account. But it should already
switch between my old email and my official email. When I logged in again. I see that at right top corner of my TV, my official email is still linked with my ''unwanted'' Xbox Live Account. But the problem is when I go into Setting->Account->Switch Live Account,
it says it's my old email linked with. I'm really confused at moment.

So now, I got 2 emails linked with same my ''unwanted'' Xbox Live Account and I don't know how to fix it.

I'm looking for a solution that I can get my official email ''free'' and switch with my primary Xbox Live Account.

Okay so looks like you want to switch Windows LIVE IDs. You're going to have to create a whole new Windows LIVE ID to associate with this account you are posting with to free up that email. Then switch the Windows LIVE ID on the other account. Here is a
guide on how to swich Windows LIVE IDs on an account.

The steps you will need to do are the following:

1. Download the profile currently connected to your windows outlook email to your xbox live console

2. Wait 30 days. A profile has to be on a console for at least 30 days without downloading it before it can be moved to a different Microsoft Account.

3. Move the xbox live account on your outlook email (Microsoft Account) to a new (Temporary) Microsoft account. This will remove the xbox live account that is currently on the outlook email account

(Be sure not to use the PC with windows 8 or windows Phone, this will auto generate a new xbox live account when it is missing)

4. Move your xbox live account to the outlook email address. After that your xbox live account should be connected to the Outlook email address (Microsoft account)

Once an account is created you can't delete it.

However you can change the email associated with an account, which will then free the old one up for a new account.

support.xbox.com/.../manage-live-id and pick the Switch Your GamerTag to a Different Windows Live ID option to find out how to do it.

In short create a new hotmail account and use that to replace your current email address. That will free that one up and you can then use it to create a new account.
