How to Survive update problem

Just downloaded the free trial of How To Survive and XBone tells me I need an update for this game but I get a recurring problem getting the update. Needless to say the game wont run without it. I checked network connections and power cycled the console
to no effect. I rebooted the router and still no success. Any work arounds out there?

How to Survive

I tried the demo and it's way too difficult early on, the learning curve is too steep and put me off, life is too short especially at my age to fight a control layout as bad as this one.

Sorry i just wrote a tread about the same problem several games since i download How to survive some games work like SMITE but HTS or World of tank freeze while load and MCC AND FIFA 15 lost my data and arent able to save

If you quit, it doesn't count. I've tried doing it that way too, you have to die, not quit.

Instead of quitting - just let yourself get killed by the enemy to end the game.

as for not showing the correct completed level i have that on many maps that i know i have completed level 20 +

just another annoying glitch
