How to Survive: Storm Warning Edition now available on Xbox ONE.

So how is it? I've never even heard of it. It's originally a PC game yes?

Is it worth the asking price of 20 dollars?

Got a new Xbox One today, some Games with Gold downloads missing

Yesterday, these games appeared on my xbox ready to be installed:

- How to Survive: Storm Warning Edition

- Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes

- So Many Me

Now, it's just missing this one: - CastleStorm: Definitive Edition

I will check again later.

 

How to survive storm warning edition

I am looking for someone interested in playing co-op, nobody plays this game, I need help in getting a red stone, I made a mistake in putting the red stones into my weapons, I need a red stone for the golden egg quest for the monkey for the monkey god

 

The original version was released on the PC about 1 yr ago ( minus DLC ). Professional reviews were all over the place but was well received by the gaming community.

I enjoyed the game on the PC, own it on the 360 but never played ( bought it during a sale) so with all the DLC well worth the 20 bucks on the One.

The biggest gripe people had that I saw was with couch-co-op camera. I'm guessing it tethered players like the old Lego games rather than split screen but never played it other than single player so I'm not sure.

It was built around the 360 controller so no weird issues with the port and controls.

 

Started playing it the other day with a friend. He joined my game and we called it quits after we finished the quest on the tutorial island...after starting up later that day solo the game wouldn't allow me to exit the island for my next mission...had to
start over....

Joined my friends game after i got to level 7 with tons of items. Helped my friend for a while and had a TON of items and weapons....Saved my game numerous times before taking a break. Got back on later and poof...everything i had done was gone!

I do not recommend this game nor will i play it again until these issues are fixed...

 

The game is so so. Played it a couple times. Not a fan of games where random enemies respawn even though you cleared the area a few minutes before. Seems fake.

 

I'm still enjoying this game. Once you learn the islands and locations it makes it quite a bit better and easier. It definitely gets tough though...... I have found the electric zombies......

 

I got the gas can filled then was trying to take it back to the boat and then I died cause I ate all the health plants way before. So didn't have any to replenish health. Like I said before every zombie I killed respawned back and then some once I had
the gas can.

 

^^ That is a pain but just keep trying. There was one spot near the boat that I kept dying on but then I noticed a health plant next to me lol. What difficulty are you on?
