How to stop recurring points redemption

I'm using the latest Xbox Series X and I've called numerous times and no one has a clue how to turn off just the "automatic points redemption" at the 1st of the month? I've talked to supposedly "higher ups" and everyone is clueless!! Thanks for answering though!!?? From what I've been able to find Microsoft is well aware of this issue going back to October 2021 with many people complaining with the Xbox One S! Microsoft needs to STOP ignoring the issue and FIX IT! They'll grab my money and cut me off if I don't pay! However, their mistakes are ALL good! I'll try 4 day's b4 end of the month as you suggested since there doesn't seem to be any way out!!! WOW!! Yet, another Microsoft FAILURE!! So SURPRISED!!

I received this email from Microsoft Support this morning Sept. 12, 2023! The PROBLEM IS .. NOW PAY ATTENTION!! What you're saying should "work in theory!" However, it doesn't work as you've outlined! How about we do something different? I want Microsoft Support to find a way to "sign up" and then "try" to cancel?? By the way, please add screen shots of your steps!! Then, you'll FINALLY see that the problem REALLY exists! Then, after YOU FINALLY REALIZE THAT IT DOESN'T WORK AS THE CONTINUOUS CLAIMS MICROSOFT SUPPORT IS ADIMENTLY CLAIMING IS THE SOLUTION FAIL!! Let me know what your next ingenious idea will be??? CAN'T WAIT!!!!

I know that it can be difficult sometimes to find the proper steps. Let me help you out with this one.

Let me take this opportunity to inform you that you can control Auto Redeem in the Rewards app on your Xbox One. You can sign up and cancel in the Auto Redeem section of the app. You must sign up or cancel no later than four days prior to the end of the month. Your election to auto redeem will remain in effect until you cancel.

I did mine through the app on my Xbox One, by going into the auto redeem section. It has to be done 4 days prior to the end of the month. Initially I thought I had cancelled, but I didn't do it right first time..somehow?

I have to stop it from your end. For some reason is a recurring chg.. I need it stopped immediately. And have no idea how

yes ! Just give in the code and the system will show you what it is for or if it was already redeemed.

You can still stop the redemption at this point or redeem it.
