How To Start From Next Level?

Hi,

Everytime I start playing again, I am unable to start from the "next level". My game starts from begning i.e 1st level instead of the next level where I left before. My levels cleared are not getting saved. What mistake I am making i am unable to identify?
Pls. guide

how to start

i've never played anything online, though i know skyrim well.

there is a free trial of Elder Scrolls Online:Tamriel Unlimited. but all i can get it to do is play an advert.

there is a "launch game" option, but it too only plays the advert.

i have pressed every button on the "game hub" screen, but all i get is the advert for the game.

please help.

To check, does the game show as installed when you check on the console under the "My Games & Apps" section? If so, try launching the game from there, rather than from the Game Hub.

If you don't see it there, check under the "Ready to Install" section to see if it's listed there. If it is, try installing it and launching it from there.

If you spend enough to reach the next level before January 1, you will start next year at that level. Otherwise, your progress will reset on January 1.

My first observations were incorrect. Dead is dead. If you die you start back at level 1 with nothing.

Still trying to figure out how the carrying over of spells, perks, etc works on the next playthroughs. They are unlocked so I'm guessing they'll be available from the start making your character more powerful sooner than in previous runs.

@BongKaos Netflix is only available to those who pay for a separate Netflix account. I am not saying take away the ability of silver and gold members (who have a Netflix accounts) to use their Xboxes for Netflix, I am saying roll in a Netflix subscription

Microsoft will do it or be involved in it. If you want an example just looks at last year’s launch of the Xbox ONE. It was… subpar and left many fans and potential customers underwhelmed. It would have made Microsoft more money to have a more effective console
launch but they did not so they are not perfect… Just to be clear I want Gold to stay EXACTLY the same as it is now while having another level of Live service that offers bundles and vouchers for games/movies/what not at a combined discounted price as opposed
to paying full price for all of these separate services.
