How to spend credit from a different country

Hi there,

Basically i live in the UK and a friend of mine bought me some credit who lived abroad, he bought me a Euro card thinking if i add it to my account i would just get the value in £. This was not the case it actually made me a German (DE) account, when i check
my balance on commerce it asks me to select either the UK or the DE both have money on them, but i can only spend the money from the UK i have explored a few options (changing the store on xbox, trying the DE xbox site and such), always selects the UK account.

Does anyone know of a way to do this?

Can't download the Fable III free offer for xbox ?

That's insane! My account is from a few years ago when i lived in a different country, and i'm going to move again very soon. Not to mention that sometimes i spend weeks in another country. I can't just make a new account every time i move!

Hello

I want to buy my friend in the UK a redeem-code for XBox Live in Switzerland.

Will he be able to use the Swiss code in the UK?

And could it work with a UK code in Switzerland?

No you can try calling support but there is no garentees

You would have to migrate your region however doing so can cause issues and your new store would not have english content and you would have to buy german content to spend german currency

Just to add, if you do migrate your account, you have to wait 3 months before you can migrate back.

The 8,700 Credits are your lifetime Credit amount. It is also the amount you received as your deposit. Since these Credits were deposited, they were converted from Rewards Credits into currency and placed into your Microsoft Account to spend. From our FAQ:

What are Rewards Credits and how can I use them?

Rewards Credits are a way of keeping track of the funds you earn through Xbox Live Rewards. Once you accumulate 5,000 Credits or more, they will be converted into your country's local currency and deposited into your Microsoft account. Then, you can head
