How to speed up game downloading that's purchased through xbox live

Sorry to hear you're experiencing slow download rates. Unfortunately a lot of people are experiencing this as well. This also happens with newer title releases as well when a lot of people are downloading at the same time.

There is no way to speed it up other than upgrading your internet if you have a slower service.

How fast are your downloads from XBOX Live anyway? When I rarely download something I don't get the impression it's even able to download at the full speed of my line which is around 1.8MB/s. Downloading up to 50GB through XBOX Live could get a little painful.

It's likely it's your connection speeds that are the issue. FIFA 15 is a 12.7GB game.

The minimum recommended download speed for Live is 3Mbps, at which speed FIFA 15 would take about 10 hours to download. And that's assuming you hit peak speeds the whole way through. So if you also have other devices (laptops, phones, tablets, TVs) on the
network (particularly if they're streaming or downloading something sizeable), that will obviously slow down your download speeds and increase the time taken significantly.

These games are much bigger than their 360 counterparts and will take much longer to download.

A lot of people have been downloading from Xbox Live so the servers are being put through their paces. Hopefully over time they will speed up content delivery.

Curious if you got this figured out. Just upped my speed through my ISP and EVERYTHING else went up, except the upload speed on xbox. Upload and download went up on pc, download went up on xbox, but not upload.
