How to snap Party without Kinect? (Xbox One)

There is no longer a separate app for the Parties anymore, as the Xbox Dashboard update has replaced it with a much quicker and easier system. to view the party while playing, simply double tap the middle button on your controller, and tap down until you
reach the party. You should be notified when someone first posts on in the party text chat, so there is really no need to have the party snapped the whole time.

I the snap in theory, but at the present it is a bit clunky, especially if your in a multiplayer game and you need to snap party.

I would to be able to control the snap functions without moving into the snap, eg I say snap party, my controller stays in the game, and I use voice commands for the party, might need something like "Xbox Voice Snap"

All in all thought, a great feature and one which will definatly improve with time.

[/quote] To be fair you could press the guide button and possibly an option appears saying "Snap" or "Switch Game" I'm a Kinect 2 fan but some of your arguments aren't great, the only feature that you've mentioned that cant be done without Kinect is the last
one about profile recognition, the rest is just menus.

I was a Kinect skeptic. I disliked the first one. But Xbox One with Kinect is the best experience. While the "Stranded" aka Kinect-Less struggle to "Record that" and navigate directly to a snappable app. I will just say "Xbox snap achievements" and
I am there. The Stranded will have to hit the Xbox button, select snap, and then navigate to achievements then select it. XB1 with Kinect is far more convenient. Also, Skype, Twitch, YouTube are all easier with Kinect. While the mo cap is not a preference
for me, the Voice Navigation is incredible. And I can't imagine Xbox One without it.

This is my opinion, but it is hard to argue against the convenience I stated above.

I could not imagine my Xbox without Kinect. As I have embraced the 8th Generation Xbox One experience since E3 2013. It is beneficial in many ways, from the record that, to upload studio with video commentary to Skype (which I use often as most of my family
live out of state, and using a lap top or phone is not as nice. As well as snapping straight to your wanted app is immediate instead of having to navigate. Also, if your controller dies you can tell your party members to cover you via Kinect.

I am sure now that there are two different versions of the Xbox One, that Xbox will do everything they can to make the experience easier without the Kinect, as they already have been updating to help the Kinect-less.
