How to sign up for Xbox Live SILVER

Dear support team,

I am trying to sign up for the Windows 10 / Pocket Edition version of Minecraft Realms. The system tells me that I can only do so from the app - which I just bought for more than 10 dollars through the Google Playstore. Now I am being told that I need a
Xbox Live account. While I am willing to sign up for a free Xbox Live Silver account, I am at this point not prepared to shell out yet another EUR 59,99 ON TOP of the monthly subscription for realms to be able to play a few hours of Minecraft with my son.
Can you please advise how I can create an Xbox Live Silver account? Thanks in advance for your help!

GH5 & Lips Mics?

Just grab a different controller and hit the guide/xbox button and go to sign in and select the account (doesn't need to be live/gold/silver account).

For example I sign in using a guitar, friend 1 signs in using the drums, friend 2 signs in using a controller (for use with the mic) and friend 3 signs in with another guitar controller.

if you did it correctly you should have gotten the free 30 day gold trial if not then your silver

- Sign up for Xbox Live Silver.

- Choose Xbox Live Silver Membership for $0.00 even if you like to have Xbox Live Gold.

- It will ask you if you are sure you want to continue with only the Silver Membership.

- Choose the "Keep Silver" option to continue with the set-up.

- Then it will inform you that you are now eligible for a free 30 day Xbox Live Gold Membership.

- Enjoy the free trial and make sure to keep the upgraded Gamertag account.

So it looks like you already at least have an Xbox Live Silver account if you were able to sign-in and post on the forums. Once you make an Xbox Live account through Xbox.com by signing in with a Microsoft Account, you're automatically given an Xbox Live
Silver account. If you wish to create a new Xbox Live account, you can do so by hitting up our

Create an account page.
