How to set up Xbox Gamepass with my child

My child got an Xbox S for Xmas and have set it up with an adult account for me and one for him. What’s the best way to set up the game pass as he is the only one that plays it at present. I am hoping it can just be done via my account and he gets the benefit for it. Thanks

Yes, he will also get all the benefits. However, if your son wants to play or access cloud gaming, only the account that has the Game Pass Ultimate will be able to access it. For more information about cloud gaming, you may check out this link; https://support.xbox.com/en-US/help/games-apps/....

If you would like the subscription to be under your account, you can purchase it on the Xbox Store page. Once done, you can share it with your son by setting your account as the "Home Xbox." To do this, follow the steps below:

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

2. Select Profile & system > Settings > General > Personalization, and then select My home Xbox.

3. Select Make this my home Xbox.

Thanks for your reply. I just want to check that if I follow your steps and purchase the pass under my account, my son will also get all the benefits from it.

Is the phone for a child or for an adult?

You might need to set up your date of birth on account.live.com for an adult or set up my family for a child. Check out windowsphone.com on how to set up
