How to set up Tritton Warheads to XBox One

The Tritton Warhead is not compatible with the Xbox One console. You can refer to the bottom of our

Xbox One Headset Compatibility page for more information, including a list of headsets that are not compatible at the bottom of that page. I'm sincerely for any frustration this may cause.

I hope I'm not stepping on any toes here, but I would like to add to Mister Beep's post - the Warhead Headset is incompatible with the "Stereo Headset Adapter" for chat, but as you listed you only want it for audio, it looks as though the 7.1 Dolby Warhead
Headset has an optical cable in the box with it. In that case, all you would need to do is connect to the optical out on your Xbox One, into the Optical IN on the Warhead's base station.

Then, in your Settings on the Xbox One (Menu -> Settings) go to Display & Sound, and under optical choose "Bitstream Out," and finally, choose the option for Dolby Digital.

That should be it, you should now get audio from your Warhead headset!

@Alm1ghtyAaronHD I would like to know this as well, I have the adapter but when it gets (as awkward as it is) plugged into the back of the surround sound charge station of the Warhead 7.1 it still doesn't take input from the Tritton's microphone. So I just
use my kinect as a mic for now.. which is lame...

For those that were able to get audio, how do u guys have the settings set up. I can't get mine to work at all! Plz reply I don't care about the mic. I just want audio so I can play at night.

This is what i heard, i called tritton or madcatz and they told me Microsoft and turtle beach were working together to develop an Adapter for the headsets. this adapter will be an official Microsoft licensed adapter. previously i called microsoft xbox one
support and the guy told me that they had no plans in the next several weeks to release anything about an adapter. The other guy at madcatz told me to expect the adapter to be available around February 2014.
