How to see a friend request sent from an Xbox 1 on an Xbox 360.

I have an Xbox 360 but my friend has an Xbox 1 and we don't seem to be able to accept or even see each others friends requests so we can't play games with each other. How do we fix this? Thank you.

I can't see my friends from Xbox One on my Xbox 360

Hello!

I sent friend requests to 2 of my friends. But, they told me that nothing appeared for them. I have an Xbox 360 and they have a Xbox One.

I want to know how I can see them on my Xbox 360 friends list and play online with them.

Hi, Im on xbox 360. How do I except a friend request or add a friend if they are on xbox 1? They say I am on their list but I can't find them on mine. Or I can't see anyway to add them. I can see a friend message but I can't add them.

The friend system is different on the One. It's not a request system, you just choose to follow someone. So it won't send you a request at all if they friended you from the One. If you send them a friend request, they should be able to see it on the website
and can accept it from there.

Have you tried having him send you a friend request? This is some information I was able to find. It might be worth a shot to have him send you a friend request.

Viewing your Xbox One friends on your Xbox 360 friends list

With Xbox One, a friend is anyone whom you add to your friends list. Adding new friends on Xbox One does not require that they send a friend request first.

When you sign in to an Xbox One console, your Xbox 360 friends will automatically appear in your friends list, as well as your followers list. If you accept a new friend request sent from an Xbox 360 console, you will see them as a friend AND a follower
on Xbox One. However, friends who have been added on Xbox One will not automatically show up on your Xbox 360 list. If you plan to play with them on your Xbox 360, you’ll have to send a friend request through your Xbox 360 console. Once they accept, you’ll
then see them in your friends list on both of your consoles.

It's possible you have a friends request sent via a 360 & the sender is not on xbox one

Click on your friends list on this site & see if there are any friends requests pending.

I had the exact same issue & that was the problem

Select the friend list from the menu in Minecraft.
You will then see a message that says "You received a friend a request". Tap on this message.
Tapping on the message will display the list of all the friend requests sent you.
Choose the friend request you wish to accept.
