How to revert to xbox 360 gamerpic on xbox one

When I first got the xbox one I changed my gamerpicture to one of my avatar on accident. Is there any way to go back to my old 360 picture on the xbox one.

Unfortunately once you change your gamerpic to an Xbox One gamerpic you cannot revert. Your old pic will be viewable on the 360 but not on your Xbox profile on xbox.com or Xbox One.

Are you referring to your Xbox One Gamerpic? I'm afraid Xbox 360 Gamerpics do not carry over to the Xbox One and if you have already chosen an Xbox One Gamerpic, there isn't an option to revert back to an Xbox 360 Gamerpic. Thanks for your understanding!

 

You would have to use a 360 to switch your gamerpic back

The One won't show the 360 gamerpics. You'd have to change your gamerpic to one of the ones that are made for the One.

 

Can someone who actually owns an Xbox one answer the question as you two have no idea what you're talking about.

 

Or maybe the answer was given in my first post. Change your gamer picture on the 360 and it should show up as your default gamer picture on xbox one. Seems pretty simple to me.

 

Hmm I tried that and it didn't work, do you mean i should change both my private and public gamer picture?

 

I do own a One. There's no way to get a 360 gamerpic on the One. This is how you change your gamerpic on the One -

So far I have not found a method. I have asked numerous people about it and nobody has a clue. Deleted, redownloaded, all that good jazz and nothin'. I like my pic from the 360, but ever since I changed it to the pic on the One, I can't get it back. I do
not like any of the pictures on the One, and miss my Fallout collection I once had.

 

And by the way smwutches, the One DOES SHOW THE 360 PIC, when you FIRST download your acct on to the One. The second you change it to a One Pic, you cannot get the 360 pic back (As far as I know).

 

You're right. I forgot that it does show when you first start it, but there is no way to get it back after that.

 

So far, it seems there isn't a way to revert to your Xbox 360 gamer picture on the Xbox One console. You could try deleting your profile from your console, signing in on your Xbox 360, and changing your gamer picture on there. Then redownload your profile
onto your Xbox One, and see if that works. It didn't seem to work for one of the above posters, though. You'd have to find a way to erase your data (gamer pictures or account history) on the Xbox One, which I don't think is possible.

 

Gamerpics on the 360 are 64 pic by 64 pic. The XB1 gamerpics are 1080p it like 1920 pic by 1080 pics. And you do not want the 360 ones. If a you send a message to a friend or famliy. Or log on the XB1. And they are on there XB1. The pic show is not leagble
for them to see who you are. So it better have the one gamerpic in the long run. Because it seeable for them to know who you are.
