    I bought Minecraft through the Windows Store, which is apparently the wrong version as the recipient wants the version direct from Minecraft.net. Can we uninstall and return it?

    Huh, my order isn't even showing up there. Maybe the problem is that I bought it on the Minecraft website? But I did sign in when it prompted me to on the website. I'm not sure why I can't find it :(

    Thank you for taking the time to post this on the Xbox Forums. We understand that you are currently inquiring about returning a digital product you purchased.

    The refund procedure has been streamlined to become more of a self-service option. That being said

    requesting a refund     would have to be done on your end.

    You need to be sure you are signed into the correct before you are able to see the items eligible for a refund.

    All you need to do is go to Request an Xbox refund | Xbox Support, sign in using the account that made the purchase, select the item you want a refund for and then request the refund!
    After your refund request is approved it shall take from 3 to 5 business days for your money to be back!
