How to resync my cloud data to my xbox one?

I lost 5 days worth of Starfield data. I was playing on 10/08 and the game unexpectedly quit, which happens frequently through cloud gaming. No problem there. But then this time when I loaded the game back up the "syncing data" procedure failed. I now only have a Saved game file from 10/03. I don't know how to force resync, or if my files are even safe and stored in a cloud server.

If there is nothing I can do to recover then I'm done with Starfield, cloud gaming, and GamePass Ultimate. If there is something that can be done, please let me know!

just happened to me the second time. I've seen a few of these problem mentioned here and no one at Xbox hasn't even answer them.

Can you uninstall and reinstall the apps in question? It should resync the data from the cloud. I know I got a new XBOX after not playing for 6 months and I got all of my data back.

Have you tried removing your account from the Xbox then signing back in. This can for a resync on your game data cloud data.

I have just tried two more things:

Removing my account from the console and adding it again
Deleting all saved game data for that game and then resyncing it from the cloud (this process seems automatic as a message "resyncing hellblade data" appears when first starting the game after the deletion)

None of these helped and my progress seems to be lost unfortunately.

...how will I ever trust this game!

P.S.

I tried Settings->General->Network Settings->Test Network Connections and it says "It's all good"
