  1. How to restore Xbox Wireless Headset - Starfield Limited Edition sounds

I bought Xbox Wireless Headset - Starfield Limited and update firmware in Xbox Accessories and my CUSTOM STARFIEL SOUNDS GONE! They become default! And nobody wanted to FIX THIS! I WANT MY CUSTOM sounds BACK! Why u make LIMITED HEADPHONES and AFTER update u ruined people devices and expectations? Like i find a lot of threads about this and still no fix!
    All that
    Reset the Headset

    • Hold the mute button + power button for about 15 seconds to force a reset. Then reconnect and check if the Starfield sounds return.

All other reboot things are not working!

    :)

Just a friendly reminder that this is a public forum and those of us who participate in it are ordinary gamers. My only mission is to assist and guide the community a little bit.

You can send your comments to Xbox by following the steps below.

    https://support.xbox.com/help/account-profile/m...

Another possible solution you can try is to reset the headset with these steps:

    - Plug the USB-C cable into the headset and position yourself next to your Windows 10/11 device or a power outlet with a USB connection (do not plug the other end of the USB-C cable into PC, or outlet yet).

    - Hold down the headset’s power button and the mute button simultaneously (both buttons are located on the left earcup), and then quickly plug the USB-C cable into PC, or outlet.

    - If the hard reset is successful, the headset should power off.

    - Turn the headset back on. (If you continue to hold down the power button throughout the hard reset process, the headset will power off and then power back on.)

    Sadly nothin'

The problem is with the firmware itself, can you notify the software department about this so they can look it up or something?

Some other people has the exact same issue with this Limited Edition headset.. the cause' is the software which can't be reversed I guess..

If we had the option to change startup, mic on/off sound it would be great.

Xbox Wireless Headset - Starfield Limited Edition

    Hi
My name is Rishabh, I hope you are doing great out there. I’m happy to help you with your question.

The Starfield Limited Edition headset is designed to support spatial audio and provide an immersive gaming experience, so if you're not getting spatial audio and the audio sounds like it's coming from the center of your head, there might be some settings or compatibility issues to address:

    Driver Installation:
Make sure you have installed any necessary drivers or software provided by the headset manufacturer. Some headsets require specific drivers to enable spatial audio features.

Windows Sonic or Dolby Atmos for Headphones:
Spatial audio in Windows can be enabled through technologies like Windows Sonic for Headphones or Dolby Atmos for Headphones. You need to enable one of these spatial audio solutions to experience 3D audio. You can activate them by right-clicking the sound icon in the system tray, selecting "Spatial sound," and choosing either Windows Sonic or Dolby Atmos.

    Game Compatibility:
Not all games support spatial audio, and some may require specific settings to be configured within the game itself. Make sure you're playing a game that supports spatial audio and check its settings to enable it if necessary.

    Headset Compatibility:
While the Starfield Limited Edition headset is designed for spatial audio, it's possible that there could be compatibility issues with certain systems or setups. Check the manufacturer's website or support resources to ensure the headset is compatible with your specific setup.

    Audio Output Settings:
Confirm that the audio output settings on your PC are correctly set to use the Starfield Limited Edition headset as the default audio device. Sometimes, incorrect settings can affect spatial audio performance.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.

    Thanks and regards

    How Much Would You Pay?

the one i might sell is an AXPRO, just an limited edition version. It sounds great but my head is too big and it literally is killing me. It's like a vise grip.

Can't get a wireless headset, it would mess with my wireless router. Need to stay wired.
