How to restore automatic configuration to my wireless network settings.

Hello all,

Does anyone know how to allow the wireless network settings to be configured automatically. I recently attempted to assign a static ip address using the Xbox One settings and now it will only attempt to use these settings. Therefore I would like to know
how to restore this to the automatic setup rather than this one time manual attempt.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Connection to Live has failed again

I went into to network settings, configure network, and additional settings and restore to factory defaults, restarted the xbox, and went into network settings and scanned for my wireless signal and set it using automatic settings and was able to connect
to Xbox Live, why is this happening? Please someone help.

My NAT want Change and done all the steps and opened all the ports and turned on UpNp and I am still on Strict Any ideas

[/quote]In short, go to the Network Settings page on your Xbox (Settings -> System -> Network Settings). Set your console's configuration from Automatic to manual. Make sure the IP Address, Subnet Mask and Gateway match your router settings. You can also
try your port forwarding configuration with the static IP configuration.

Are you not able to simply clear the field with the static IP address?

I've never tried these settings and don't currently have access to a One so cannot mess with them right now to be of more help to you.

Go to settings network advanced settings there you have IP setting click and choose auto same with DNS I would do a bootup as well

1. Press the Guide button on your controller, select Settings, and select System Settings.

Select Network Settings.

Select the name of your wireless network when the network list is displayed.

Select Configure Network.

On the Additional Settings tab, select Restore to Factory Defaults. When prompted, select Yes, Restore to Factory Defaults. This resets the console's network settings only.

Restart your console.

You will receive a message to configure wireless settings. Follow the on-screen instructions to connect to your wireless network.
