How to Resolve Xbox Game Pass Not Launching Issues

I'm experiencing issues launching games from my Xbox Game Pass, and I'm looking for a solution to this problem. I've tried a few basic troubleshooting steps, but nothing seems to work. Does anyone have any tips or methods that might help resolve this issue?

Here's what I've tried so far:

1. Restarted my Xbox console and router to rule out any connectivity issues.

2. Checked for any available system and game updates to ensure everything is up-to-date.

3. Verified my Xbox Game Pass subscription status to make sure it's active.

Despite these attempts, the games are still not launching. Any suggestions or detailed steps for fixing this would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Dre,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Xbox Community. I'm sorry to hear that you're having issues launching games from Xbox Game Pass. Do you receive any error message whenever you launch a game?

I understand that you already restarted your Xbox. I want to make sure that your console's power supply will be restarted as well to completely clear your cache. Kindly follow the steps below.

1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off.

2. Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 50 seconds.

Important: Make sure that you wait at least 50 seconds. This step resets the power supply.

3. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller.

If you don't see the green boot-up animation when the console restarts, repeat these steps. Make sure that you hold the power button until the console completely shuts down.

Important If your console is in Sleep mode, the above steps will shut the console off completely. Sleep mode, or the ability to turn on your console by saying "Xbox on," won't be enabled until you restart the console.

No issues known sorry. I had a problem personnaly from the XBox Game Pass on PC with the download won't launch, but it was probably came from my internet bandwich. Resolved now.

After researching, it looks as though this a Game Pass subscription related issue. Can you verify that your account is currently subscribed to Game Pass with no issues? If it is not, try and resolve the issue first, sign out of Xbox App and then sign in before trying to launch the game again.
