    How to reset parental control on Xbox 360


    Recently I bought a used Xbox 360 from Gamestop, the previous owner had a parental lock on it and it prevented me from fully accessing anything.

    I couldnt even get it to play Meet the Robinsons, a kids movie.

    I searched the internet with absolute zero help.

    It sat on my shelf collecting dust for about a month until I decided to try again. Did a search, and found no answers. So I decided to contact live support.

    This reset was so easy!

    Press middle xbox button on toyour remote to bring up Xbox Guide.

    Scroll over to settings, select system settings. Select Console Settings. Scroll down to System Info and select.

    Next youll input a code just like a cheat code for a game.

    Pull left trigger.

    Pull right trigger.

    Press X

    Press Y

    Press left bumper

    Press right bumper

    Press A

    Then either on left joystick or D-Pad

    Right, down, up.

    If done correctly it will pull up a prompt to restart your system.

    If this doesnt work I highly recomment contacting Xbox/Microsoft support. It's incredibly easy.
