How to reset controller without console

I bought a controller for my PC to play games on and I went to my cousins house and I paired the controller to his Xbox. I know there is someway to unpair it but a console is needed and he lives 3 hours away from me. So I cannot connect it to my iPhone
to play controller compatible games. How do I reset the controller with either the controller itself, or pc or the app on the phone or something?

Hard reset again while console was on after reset normally.

Updated controller previously in initial purchase of console and head set which was yesterday.

Press and hold the console power button until the console turns off, remove the power cord and HDMI cable. Remove the batteries from your controller for a few minutes.

After a few minutes, plug the cables into your console, put the batteries in your controller, and try powering up the console with your controller and see if that solves the problem.

If the problem persists reset the console to factory defaults, you won't lose anything but you will need to log in with your account again. Email and password are required.

Follow this path and select reset keeping games and app.

In 5 to 10 minutes you will finish reconfiguring your console

To reset the console>

Settings> System> Console Info> Reset Console

***Do not reset your console without having your account email and password.***
