How to reset cod4 stats?

Sorry if I'm posting this in the wrong section, but when I played yesterday, I stumbled across a hacked server, I immediately left when I noticed the suspicious amount of xp I received, however, the damage was already done, I got an absurd amount of XP.

The problem isn't just the first hacked server, but that I've been finding it really hard to find a vanilla/unmodded servers, I completely gave up on finding the mythical unmodded server on the Xbox 360, and even on Xbox One I couldn't find any unmodded
servers. and there's no way that its this hard to find vanilla servers for everyone else, especially given I've gone 2 months of cod4 gameplay without stumbling across a single modded server.

I would like a cod4 stat reset, or at least, I would like to know how to blacklist modded servers and how to know what server I'm joining before I join.

You will have to contact Infinity Ward as they were the devs on that game but there is little to no support left on that title from the devs.

 

there is no way to reset your stats unless you start a new account. You can contact Infinity Ward/Activision support and ask if they do resets but given the age of the game I don't think they would be able to assist.

 

ok then.... So I'm stuck with this, oh well, any explanation to the excessive amount of hacked lobbies though? I try to avoid hacked lobbies, but right now I'm having trouble finding unmodded lobbies.

 

We're afraid that's not something we can speculate on. If you see other players violating the rules of the game and the
Xbox Code of Conduct which distinctly calls out the prohibition of cheating and tampering then please file a report from your console against those individuals so the Xbox Enforcement
Team can take a closer look.

No point filing complaints against cheats as Xbox do nothing.

Also no point contacting Activision, they stopped resetting stats for this game a few years ago.

You do not need to start a new account. You can do what many other gamers have done when they have been hacked which is approach a cheat to reset your stats. This is easy enough to do as there are hundreds of cheats on there at any one time. Probably best
to ask your friends to recommend someone who can help as some cheats are more decent than others.

Unfortunately there are so many cheats on xbox that joining modded lobbies is inevitable. To avoid a cheat compromising your stats or locking your guns, always dashboard as soon as you realise it's a modded lobby as just leaving the lobby will not prevent
you getting hacked. Do not wait to dashboard as cheats can re-start the lobby at any time to ensure they catch you.

There are still some of us legit players left on this game but often you will struggle to find a clean lobby free of cheating trolls. Xbox is a cheats paradise but whatever you do don't retaliate. Xbox are extremely soft on cheating but very eager to punish
legit gamers with comms bans if they challenge the cheats.
