    How to report stolen xbox gift card?


    I bought a $25 xbox gift card from Dell. It was stolen and redeemed. How do I report this to Microsoft so that they can suspend the account that redeem this code? I have the code and receipt shows the code that I am the original buyer. I google but couldn't
    find any answer

    There's really no way to report that. Gift cards do state that Microsoft is not responsible for lost or stolen cards. Support would only be able to tell you if they were used if you had the codes from the card.

    Call the police and report it stolen.

    MS will not "find" a console for you.

    You should also look into how your retailer handles items that are stolen before receipt, as well as see how your credit card company handles a retailer that sells items which are stolen in transit.

    I'm not really sure why they asked you to post here. This is a community forum so we don't work for Microsoft and can't do anything about a stolen gift card. It also states on gift cards that Microsoft is not responsible for lost or stolen codes. Since you know it was your friend, make him buy you a new code.
