How to report 'False reporting'

So my friends got into a little 'Agurment' and one of these 'friends' reported another for really no reason, and he got communication banned. I would like to know how you can appeal the bans if you got falsely reported.

Abuse of reporting system

Have you even fallen victim to the false report or someone with 7 accounts reporting you on all 7 cause you stomped yhem in a game and have messages proving they were doing this to you? The report system to me is extremly flawed due to this reason of false
reporting

Got my third communication ban from my friends reporting me, and every time I report them with the comment "False Reporting" and still nothing...... still waiting

A user can submit a case review at
https://enforcement.xbox.com if they feel a suspension is in error. Only an enforcement team member can respond to any enforcement actions they issue as they do not use the forums.

 

This can be a common practice too on Xbox 360. Even me and my friends and others on XBL may report just for the heck of it. Forum regulars on here had a play around with it too, where we would report each others post, after all, the volunteers and mods did
comment you can report for both good and bad things.

However if the report has no validity when it is investigated, nothing may be done. They do investigate and the results may not be issued until weeks or months later. So it could have been for a past action that you shouldn't have done. There's only like
less than a dozen people part of that enforcement team, and with over 30 million active people on Xbox 360 and Xbox One, it can take a long time that we forget what we did wrong and assume it was for a recent event. You can't report for false reporting as
kids do it all the time and Xbox is for all age groups. For instance you could report a gamer pic for a person who didn't smile hard enough or something. You shouldn't report for no reason, but people still do it.

 

You can also get suspended for abusing the reporting feature.

Doesn't matter if this argument was between friends.If one of them violated the ToU/CoC then they can be suspended.

That's even if that was why your "friend" got suspended.As smiles said,any report is investigated which takes time,your "friend" could of been suspended for something they did weeks or even months ago.
