How to replace my xbox controller?

One of a button on my controller is not working properly, and I have checked that my warranty is still valid. but when I go to the replacement page, it requires me to register a xbox console first. I do not have one, I only have many controllers, so how
can I only register my controllers and replace it?

Your other option is to contact support here https://support.xbox.com/en-US/contact-us or the relevant support site for your country. At the virtual agent select "show
other options, then select a topic, then select "see contact options" and request a callback.

Your best bet would be a direct call to the xbox support team. I’m not sure if you have a backup controller or can wait but it could take a little bit. Always depends on something!
