How to remove an Xbox from "my console" choices

Unfortunately it only shows my xbox and my phone in the list of devices to manage it does not show the other Xbox. Why is her Xbox showing up in the xbox app though as you could see in the first original post that started this thread, there has to be a
way to remove it.

Thank you for posting your question to the Xbox Forums. I understand you are trying to remove a console from your Microsoft account.

If you no longer use a device and would like to remove it from your account, here's how to remove it:

1. Go to
account.microsoft.com/devices, sign in, and find the device you want to remove.

2. Select Show Details to see info for that device.

3. Under your device's name, select Manage > Remove.

4. Review your device details, select the check box, I'm ready to remove this device, then select Remove.

Thanks for coming to the forums. We understand have question on factory reset. If an Xbox one there are two choices.

1. Reset and keep my games and apps.-- This erases all profiles, but games and apps stay on the console.
2. Reset and remove everything--This removes everything completely from the console games, apps, profiles.

The my home Xbox is designed to share games on a console of your choice. If you have used up your 5, then got another one, used that one on another console, then it will remove the home Xbox from the last console you designated as the home console. There
is nothing you can do to change it back, except wait until 365 days is over.
