How to remove account from an Xbox I no longer own

It is not possible to remove your account from an Xbox One remotely however if you have not already done so can you please

change the password on your account and make sure you set another console as your

home console to prevent them accessing your games installed on the console. It may also be worth

setting up a passkey for your account to add an extra
layer of security to your profile

That is correct. If only the account is banned from Xbox Live then you should be able to remove that account and then add your own and play like normal. Click and follow the link I provided on my last post for instructions on how to remove and add an account
on an Xbox 360. If the console does not let you access Xbox Live or remove the account, then it is very likely the console was banned from Xbox Live through its ID number and it can no longer be used to access Xbox Live. Console bans are permanent.

Try removing the banned account and then adding yours and let us know how it goes.

I wouldnlike to be abke to remove games i no longer own and or no longer play from my history. Makes a lot of sense from a logistical stand point

There is no way to remotely remove your account from someone's console. You would have to physically delete it yourself. Removing their console as your Home only means they can no longer access your games from their own account. If your account is still
sign in on the console, they can still access it.

Pawned it, did not plan on losing it.

Do to unfortunate circumstances, no longer own it. So i want to remotely remove my account!
